Making Your Holiday a Little Bit Easier
We know that Thanksgiving is all about giving thanks. We also know that the hustle and bustle of the holiday can be overwhelming when preparing the big feast and entertaining out of town guests. Make your morning simple by laying out a bagel & muffin platter with cream cheese, jam and fruit. A hearty meal can now be self-serve!
Making dessert is easy too with Apple and Pecan Pie Fillings from Jones Family Jams and a Crisp recipe provided by our friend Chef Mark Moran of CSX-Sodexo.
1 stick unsalted butter
½ cup flour
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup oats
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 pinch nutmeg
¼ teaspoon salt
Mix ingredients together with hands. Break up butter until pea size and evenly distributed. Top pie filling and cook at 325 degrees for 20-30 minutes. Bon Appetite!
